Singoli Bhatwari Hydro-Electric Project

 

Singoli Bhatwari Hydro-Electric Project is a run-of-the-river scheme on river Mandakini in Rudraprayag district of Uttaranchal. A Special Purpose Vehicle has been formed (L&T Uttranchal Hydropower Limited) to develop, finance, construct, commission and operate this project on BOOT Basis for a period of 45 years.

The project involves construction of a 22-m high, 54-m wide and 80-m long barrage, 10.84km long head race tunnel, surface powerhouse. Three Francis turbines of 33 MW each will be used to generate 472.18 million units of energy in a 90% dependable year.

Current status:  Approach roads and infrastructure have been completed and main works will be started soon.


Tagurshit Hydro-Electric Project:

Tagurshit Hydro-Electric Project (60 MW) allotted by Government of Arunachal Pradesh is currently at the pre-feasibility report preparation stage.
