Visakhapatnam Industrial Water Supply Company Limited

 

The project involves augmentation of water supply to Yeleru Left Bank Canal (YLBC) for which a pipeline from river Godavari at Rajahmundhry is made with regular maintenance along with phased rehabilitation of the YLBC. The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh embarked upon this project on privatization route to spur the industrial development of Visakhapatnam. L&T is the EPC contractor for the Godavari pipeline and canal rehabilitation works and will be a part of the concessionaire. The 56-km pipeline work from Rajahmundry has been completed well ahead of schedule and the operation & maintenance of the pipeline and canal has commenced. The concession period for the project is 32 years. We have exited from the project SPV.
