The project for Sarawak Energy, the electrical utility, involved the construction of 275 kV, 132 / 33 kV control room and GIS room buildings, 30 bays of 275 kV GIS, 13 bays of 132 kV GIS, 2240 MVA Auto transformers, 280 MVA Power Transformers, 2500 kVA Earthing Transformers and 8 Reactors. This was part of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) which is one of five economic development corridors created by the Federal Government of Malaysia to stimulate investment-led growth in traditionally rural areas.
