The scope for this project included constructing 25 km of access-controlled eight lane expressway, using Perpetual Flexible Pavement technology, 33 bridges, 48 culverts, 16 underpasses, 1 railway overbridge (ROB), and 2 interchanges. Apart from having to overcome the pandemic-induced disruptions, the team had to negotiate a 1 km long and 32 m deep challenging rock hill situated at the heart of the alignment. We were still able to complete and handover the project to NHAI two months ahead of schedule.
