The Padra to Vadodara section is an 8-lane access-controlled part of the Mumbai Vadodara Expressway, which is poised to become a crucial transportation corridor in Western India as part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana program. The project involved constructing 23.74 km of access-controlled expressway with rigid pavement, along with 65 culverts, 18 vehicular underpasses (VUPs), 12 bridges (including a railway overbridge), 6 flyovers, and 2 interchanges.
